About the Role

As part of our clients' project and operational teams, you'll play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture while supporting the successful delivery of high-risk construction and operational activities. Responsibilities may include:

• Providing visible HSE leadership and coaching to site teams
• Conducting workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments
• Facilitating pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions
• Reviewing and developing SWMS, JHAs and other safety documentation
• Ensuring compliance with client, legislative and company HSE requirements
• Building strong relationships with supervisors, contractors and project stakeholders
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and promoting proactive safety behaviours

We're Looking For

• Experience as an HSE Advisor, Senior HSE Advisor or Lead HSE Advisor
• Experience within mining, underground mining, construction, civil, energy, renewables or infrastructure projects
• Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and risk management principles
• Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work autonomously while supporting project teams in fast-paced environments

Qualifications While requirements vary between roles, the following are highly regarded:

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)
• Current First Aid
• ICAM or equivalent incident investigation training (desirable)
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence
• Relevant site inductions and VOCs
