Description & Requirements

Monadelphous are seeking a HSE Advisor join our Engineering Construction Division, working one of our major oil & gas projects on a FIFO 2:1 roster. This role will include opportunity to work on nightshift with a generous salary package and nightshift allowances.

We are offering this position for candidates across Australia, with point of hire flights paid from any capital city.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide HSE advice and expertise to manage HSE issues
* Conduct HSE audits, inspections, investigations and training/awareness sessions 
* Uphold and communicate HSE standards, taking action to ensure ‘The Safe Way is The Only Way’ and implementing strategies to improve HSE performance 
* Monitor work practices to ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures and standards.
* Ensure all HSE processes and activities; JHA’s, permits etc. comply with relevant HSE legislation and company standards.
* Provide hands on support to implement HSE improvements, plans, or solutions.
* Maintain knowledge of contemporary HSE practices to recommend and implement effective HSE solutions.

What you’ll bring:

* Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the oil & gas industry within a HSE role, ideally working for similar construction contractors on multi-disciplinary scopes of work.
* Minimum Certificate IV OHS/WHS or higher qualification

* Proof of right to work in Australia.
* Strong understanding and working knowledge of Australian HSE legislation and industry standards.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
