About the Role
In this hands-on role, you will partner with our Mackay workshop team to support a safe and inclusive work environment. As the HSE Advisor, you will coach, guide, and empower leaders and frontline employees while helping drive continuous improvement across safety, wellbeing, and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and teams to build a strong, positive safety culture
- Provide practical HSE advice, mentoring, and coaching across the workshop
- Support risk assessments, audits, and compliance activities
- Lead or assist with incident investigations and improvement actions
- Deliver engaging toolbox talks and safety learning sessions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and safety programs
- Maintain accurate reporting and ensure compliance with WHS requirements
About You
We value capability, mindset, and lived experience.
- Experience in HSE, safety, or a related field (workshop, industrial, rail, or similar environments are highly regarded)
- A qualification in Work Health & Safety, or a related discipline
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people from all backgrounds
- Confidence to coach, influence, and build trust at all levels
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and willingness to learn
