We are seeking an experienced HR Superintendent to join our leadership team at Carmichael Mine. Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll provide strategic and operational HR support across the site, partnering closely with leaders to deliver positive employee outcomes, manage industrial and employee relations matters, and foster a high-performing workplace culture.

About the Role
As HR Superintendent, you'll lead the site's HR function while providing trusted advice and support across a broad range of people matters, including:

  • Leading employee and industrial relations across the project
  • Managing workplace investigations and disciplinary processes
  • Coaching and supporting leaders in performance management and people leadership
  • Driving employee engagement and positive workplace culture initiatives
  • Supporting organisational change and continuous improvement projects
  • Building strong relationships with operational leaders and corporate support teams
  • Leading and developing the site HR team to deliver exceptional support across the business
  • Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with relevant legislation and company policies

About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  • Significant experience in a senior HR or Employee Relations role within mining, construction, heavy industry or a similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations and disciplinary processes
  • Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee matters
  • Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business
  • A calm, practical and solutions-focused approach in high-pressure environments
  • Strong leadership capability with experience developing high-performing teams
  • Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline will be highly regarded
