Our client is a WA-based manufacturing and project delivery business specialising in architectural building products and customised glazing solutions for the construction and commercial sectors. Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a HR / Recruitment Coordinator to support their expanding team based in Canning Vale.

6-Month Initial Fixed-Term Contract (View of Extension)
$80,000 – $85,000 + Superannuation (Pro-Rata)

The Role:
Reporting directly to the People & Culture Manager, you will support the wider HR function across recruitment, onboarding, employee administration and general people & culture activities. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities from advertising vacancies through to onboarding new employees.
  • Shortlist and assess candidates, coordinate interviews, complete reference checks and assist with pre-employment processes throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide support with overseas recruitment and employee relocation arrangements.
  • Prepare onboarding documentation, inductions and employment compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate HR and training records, coordinate bookings and monitor employee compliance, licences and mandatory competency requirements

What Do You Need To Be Successful?

  • Previous experience within recruitment, HR or People & Culture support roles
  • Strong understanding of recruitment coordination and onboarding processes (ideally within construction or manufacturing)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Relevant tertiary qualification within Human Resources or a related field advantageous
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/recruitment systems (previous ELMO experience advantageous)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol assessment
