Housekeeping Lead – MinRes Village Operations

Lead Housekeeping Excellence | Motivate Teams | Maintain the Highest Standards

Mineral Resources (MinRes) is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Lead to oversee day‑to‑day village cleaning operations, mine site cleaning, and marine servicing (where applicable). You will be responsible for delivering flawless hygiene, exceptional customer service, and operational efficiency to meet our industry‑leading Village Operations standards.

About the Role

As the Housekeeping lead, you will:

  • Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping runs, ensuring scheduled cleaning is completed on time and to the highest standard.
  • Manage safe work practices, compliance, and adherence to MinRes policies and procedures across OH&S, HR, and quality management.
  • Ensure all team members are trained, competent, and motivated to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Take ownership of administration functions, overseeing cleaning allocations, SAM management, ordering, stocktakes, and reporting on department metrics.
  • Lead by example and maintain a tidy, organised work environment by actively working with the team on a day to day basis.
  • Collaborate with site management to ensure labour coverage within budget.
  • Incident reporting, with a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement in service delivery, efficiency, and cost control.

What We’re Looking For

We’re targeting seasoned housekeeping leaders who can bring operational insight, efficiency, and attention to detail to our villages. You will have:

  • Proven leadership in housekeeping or cleaning operations, ideally in FIFO or large‑scale facilities.
  • Sound knowledge of SAM systems, report generation, run scheduling, and workflow allocation.
  • Strong capability in safe work procedures, OH&S compliance, and service quality standards.
  • Excellent organisational skills, accuracy, and pride in your work environment.
  • Ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and lead by example.
  • Competence in coordinating training, VOCs, and workforce coverage.
