About the Company
Technical Resources is partnering with a leading engineering and project delivery organisation to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Manager for a major iron ore construction project in the Pilbara.
About the Role
This is a key leadership position for a safety professional who thrives in complex project environments and is passionate about building strong safety cultures, influencing positive behaviours and driving high-performing teams. Working on a 15 days on, 13 days off FIFO roster, you will provide strategic and operational HSE leadership across a significant construction project and play a critical role in supporting the safe delivery of works from mobilisation through execution.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing visible HSE leadership across the project
- Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, project requirements and industry standards
- Leading the implementation and continual improvement of project safety systems and initiatives
- Coaching and mentoring supervisors, contractors and project teams
- Managing incident investigations, corrective actions and reporting requirements
- Driving hazard identification, risk management and critical risk activities
- Supporting emergency management and preparedness programs
- Monitoring HSE performance and implementing improvement strategies
- Facilitating HSE meetings, workforce engagement and safety communications
- Influencing positive safety behaviours and building a strong safety culture
About You To be successful in this position, you will bring:
- Recognised Health & Safety qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as an HSE/HS Manager within mining, resources or major construction projects
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and contractor management
- Proven leadership experience within FIFO project environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong incident investigation, risk management and compliance experience
- The ability to influence, coach and develop teams at all levels
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to workplace safety
