Job Description
Programmed Energy & Resources are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated HD Fitters to join our MEM team working across Rio Tinto sites in the Pilbara.
The role involves maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a range of heavy machinery equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Heavy Diesel Fitters in the mining sector are responsible for the inspection and repair of heavy mobile equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, bulldozers, graders, and excavators. These tradespeople play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of machinery used in the demanding environments of Western Australia's Pilbara region.
Role Requirements
- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent)
- Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence (HR licence preferred)
- High Risk Work Licence (e.g.Forklift, Dogging preferred)
- Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years)
- National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
