The Opportunity

Komatsu is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our high‑performing team in Fairfield. This hands‑on role is ideal for tradespeople who enjoy independence, problem‑solving, and working with world‑class machinery.

You will diagnose, maintain, and repair a diverse range of Komatsu mobile plant equipment across customer sites, contributing to safe, efficient, and high‑quality outcomes. Role Located: Fairfield.

Roster: Monday – Friday starting 07:00am till 3:30PM. Plenty of overtime available.

About You / Requirements

• Certified Diesel Tradesperson (Mandatory) - Mobile Plant OR Heavy Commercial
• Previous experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar role within the industry is highly regarded.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Ability to demonstrate competencies of testing and adjusting of machine operating and monitoring systems utilising relevant literature and testing equipment.
• Proficiency in using computers, smartphones, and technology-based reporting systems.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to use digital communication tools effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good organisational and interpersonal skills.
