Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile mining equipment
  • Diagnose and fault-find mechanical issues
  • Perform breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Work safely and effectively within a mining maintenance team

Equipment You'll be working on a fleet including:

  • Liebherr R9150 & R9200 Excavators
  • Hitachi EX2600/6015B Excavators
  • CAT 777 Dump Trucks
  • CAT D10 Dozers
  • CAT 14M Graders
  • CAT 740B Moxy Articulated Dump Trucks

Requirements To be considered, you will have:

  • A relevant Australian recognised Trade Certificate (HD Fitter or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years' post-trade experience in Australia
  • Proven experience maintaining and repairing the equipment listed above
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • Ability to work a 2/1 FIFO roster across day and night shifts
