Job Description

The Role

As an HD Fitter, you will contribute to the delivery of planned maintenance activities across a vast fleet of underground machinery and equipment, helping ensure reliability and performance on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete scheduled servicing and attend to breakdowns on underground mining equipment
  • Identify faults and carry out repairs across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Perform routine inspections and component replacements in line with site and OEM standards
  • Ensure all machinery passes pre-start checks and is safe for operation
  • Maintain accurate service records and report any faults, risks, or hazards
  • Collaborate with site teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance

What You'll Need

  • Recognised Australian Trade Certificate (Heavy Diesel)
  • Demonstrated experience as a HD Fitter within the mining industry
  • Current C Class Driver's License (HR preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug + alcohol screen
  • Provide a clean National Police Clearance
