HD Fitters Wanted – Surface, Underground & Metro Projects – 7/7, 8/6, 2/1, 2/2 rosters available

We're partnering with a range of leading mining, civil, and infrastructure contractors who are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters for multiple positions across surface mining, underground operations, and major metro infrastructure projects throughout Australia.

Responsibilities

Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults
Complete component change-outs and rebuilds
Carry out scheduled servicing and inspections
Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance procedures
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports

Liebherr
Sandvik
Epiroc
Normet
Volvo
Underground and surface ancillary equipment

What you'll need to succeed

Australian Recognised Trade Certificate – Heavy Duty Fitter / Plant Mechanic
Demonstrated experience working on underground mining equipment
Proven experience with major OEM brands such as Sandvik, CAT, Epiroc, or Volvo (highly regarded)
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Current C Class Driver’s Licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
