About the Role
We currently have an opportunity for a Handy Person. Join our Health and Education team and play a key role in the delivery of services and the completion of all assigned maintenance, grounds, lawns & cleaning tasks to achieve contractual obligations around safety, performance, quality, communications, and special school projects. Reporting to the Client Services Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
Current vacancies:
- John Edmondson HS – Mon-Fri. 6.30am-2.30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain site grounds and lawns
- Undertake minor building maintenance and repairs
- Ensure the completion of all on site Facilities Management Services and control of associated contractors
- Ensure school is opened on time each morning
- Provide detailed accurate ad/hoc reporting
About You / Requirements
- Landscaping and/or grounds maintenance experience highly desirable
- Experience in general maintenance and repairs essential
- Understanding of OH&S regulations.
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police History Certificate
- Current Driver’s Licence
