Grab Truck Operator / OTR Tyre Fitter

Stellar Maintenance has partnered with a leading mining tyre services provider to recruit an experienced Grab Truck Operator / OTR Tyre Fitter to support mining operations throughout the Goldfields.

Working an 8:6 roster, 12-hour day shifts, this role offers the choice of FIFO from Perth or residential Kalgoorlie and combines Grab Truck operation with LV, HV and OTR tyre servicing across multiple mining operations.
Previous Grab Truck experience is not essential for experienced tyre fitters, with training available for the right person.

Daily Duties:

• Independently operate a Grab Truck across mining operations
• Complete LV, HV and OTR tyre fitting and servicing
• Support tyre maintenance requirements across client sites
• Work safely around heavy mobile mining equipment
• Liaise with site personnel and customers
• Work closely with the wider tyre maintenance team
• Complete required safety and operational documentation

What we're looking for:

You believe in fostering a positive work culture and ongoing growth, ensuring we always put our people first.

• Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology
• OTR, mining or heavy vehicle tyre fitting experience
• Current HR driver's licence
• Current Forklift licence
• Grab Truck experience highly regarded but not essential
• Strong commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently in a mining environment
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Ability to provide a National Police Clearance
• Full Australian working rights
