Job Description

Join a high-performing geotechnical team delivering critical data to support mine design and geotechnical modelling across major operations.
This is a hands-on, site-based role focused on data acquisition, validation, and interpretation, working closely with geology, drilling, and operations teams.

Roster: 8/6 FIFO from Perth

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality geotechnical core logging in line with industry standards
  • Analyse, validate, and interpret geotechnical datasets from field programs
  • Perform diamond core logging and televiewer picking with accuracy and consistency
  • Support drilling program planning and execution
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritise and optimise drilling activities

About You

  • Degree qualified in Geotechnical, Civil, Mining Engineering or Geology
  • Proven experience in geotechnical core logging methodologies
  • Strong ability to interpret and validate geotechnical data
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative, team-first mindset
  • Experience in Australia's resources sector(iron ore highly regarded)
  • Exposure to Pilbara geology advantageous
