We are seeking Geology Mine Technicians with open pit mining experience who are motivated and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team within a growing company.

The opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, responsibilities of this role will include:

• Monitoring ore mining to maximise recovery and minimise dilution
• Providing accurate records of ore mining activities
• Conducting ore mark-ups and prepare areas for mining
• Co-coordinating grade control activities
• Grade control sampling
• Assisting the mine geologists and production team with general duties required

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Driver’s license (C Class, manual car) – essential;
• 2+ years employment history as a Geology Technician or Pit Technician
• Experience in working with different types and styles of deposits
• Well-rounded technical and geology software skills
• Work Conditions
