Senior Resource Geologist - JORC & Resource Estimation Location: Perth CBD
Rate:$72.12 – $96.15 per hour + super (Depending on experience)
Contract: Immediate start | Through to end of December

An urgent contract opportunity is available for a highly experienced Senior Resource Geologist to support JORC‑compliant Mineral Resource estimation, evaluation and value optimisation activities for a major mining organisation based in Perth CBD.

This role suits a geologist with 10–15 years’ experience and demonstrated capability in multi‑commodity resource estimation, public reporting and working across technical and corporate stakeholder groups.
This is not a mine geology or exploration role.

About the role

  • Deliver and support Mineral Resource estimation and evaluation across multiple commodities
  • Plan, coordinate and prioritise technical activities to meet delivery outcomes
  • Contribute to mine planning, valuation and optimisation studies
  • Apply sound geological judgement, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Communicate complex technical information across all organisational levels
  • Facilitate collaboration and consensus without direct authority
  • Uphold a strong commitment to Health, Safety and sustainable development

What You Bring

  • Degree in Geology
  • Extensive experience in resource estimation and public reporting
  • Strong working knowledge of the JORC Code
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Highly organised, detail‑focused and analytically strong
  • Must have full Australian work rights

Desirable

  • Knowledge of mine planning, valuation and value optimisation
  • Experience with ASX reporting requirements and public reporting codes
