Geologist Ore Definition

About the Role

Protech are looking for experienced Ore Definition Geologists to perform work with our client located at a World Class Pilbara mine site on a 8/6 Roster.

8/6 Roster (Days only) Pay rate: $72/h + Aim start: July 5 month contract (with potential for extension) Weekly Pay / Super on all hours Flights with Qantas/Frequent Flyer Points Accrual Modern, comfortable accommodation & opportunity for Permanent rooms Heated outdoor pool, Basketball, Cricket Pitch, Beach Volleyball court and Golf simulator High quality variety of food (vegan, gluten free and healthy options) Large gym facility, including a female only area option Social club & events

Key Responsibilities

• Executing and supervising predominantly RC drilling programs
• Logging and interpretation of results and ensuring adherence to plans and schedules
• Ensuring drill rigs are performing to contracted technical specifications
• Ensuring all earthworks activities are in place in advance of drilling
• Daily workplace inspections and reporting of safety-related matters

Tickets & Experience Required

• Minimum C Class Manual WA Drivers License
• Tertiary degree in Geology or Geoscience
• Demonstrated experience in exploration, resource definition or mine geology
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, predominately in word and excel
• Exposure to a drill hole database, preferably AcQuire
• Experience with arc map and Vulcan would be considered an advantage
• National police clearance within 6 months
