IntroductionOur client is an Engineering company delivering specialist Design & Construct solutions to the mining sector. They partner with major miners and EPCM providers to deliver processing plant upgrades, Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI), and sustaining capital works. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a General Manager - Professional Services to lead the technical and project services functions.About this role Lead and develop the Professional Services function across engineering, project controls, planning, estimating, contracts, and procurement Establish service delivery frameworks and standardise tools, systems, and methodologies Build capability and depth within technical and project services teams Ensure projects are properly structured from early-stage planning through execution Oversee execution strategies, project schedules, and cost frameworks Provide governance across project controls, reporting, and performance management Work closely with Pre-Contracts and Commercial teams to align scope, budget, schedule, and execution methodology Support risk identification, mitigation strategies, and contract strategy Support bid strategy and major tender submissions Provide technical and delivery input into pursuit activities Ensure scalability of delivery capability in line with growth objectives Provide senior-level engagement with clients during project setup and execution Drive lessons learned and performance improvement initiatives
