About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, this role offers stability and growth, placing you at the centre of operations at our fuel installation site. With a structured training and development program, prior experience in defence or the fuel industry isn’t required; you’ll be fully trained. The role requires you to operate tanks, pipelines and pumps to transfer fuel to a desired point. This is done via SCADA and manual systems.
Hours: This role includes a mix of day, afternoon, and night shifts, with night shifts mainly during exercise periods (around 3 months each year). Shifts are 8 hours with a paid 20-minute crib break. Typical shift times are:
Day: 6-7am to 2-3pm
Afternoon: 1-9pm or 3-11pm (20% loading on ordinary hours)
Night: 11pm-7am (30% loading on ordinary hours)
