Formwork Carpenter

Unite Resourcing is currently seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters for an immediate start on a major construction project located in the Perth CBD.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing local work with a reputable contractor, offering consistent hours, optional overtime, and a genuine pathway to permanent employment for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Erecting and stripping formwork systems including PERI Skydeck, RMD, Doka, Ulma, timber, and conventional formwork
• Installing and stripping wall forms, column forms, lift shaft shutters, suspended slabs, and tilt panels
• Setting out and aligning formwork to the correct dimensions, levels, and tolerances in accordance with structural drawings
• Constructing and assembling formwork for concrete structures based on project specifications
• Completing precision cutting-in on complex structural concrete pours
• Carrying out propping, reshoring, and backpropping activities in line with engineering requirements
• Installing reinforcing steel and ensuring materials are securely positioned
• Safely dismantling and removing formwork following concrete pours
• Reading and interpreting structural and construction drawings
• Maintaining high safety, quality, and housekeeping standards at all times

Must Have:

• Trade Qualified Carpenter (Certificate III Carpentry or equivalent)
• Current White Card
• Current WA Driver's Licence
• Working at Heights
• Confined Space Entry
• Gas Testing Atmospheres
• Demonstrated experience in Formwork Carpentry
• Strong understanding of structural drawings and specifications
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
