About the Role
Are you a trade-qualified heavy equipment professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships as much as solving technical challenges? At Komatsu, we're looking for a Fleet Manager to become the trusted on-site advisor for one of our key mining customers. You'll be the link between the customer and Komatsu, driving machine availability, improving fleet performance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience every day.
As the Fleet Manager, you'll be responsible for maximising machine availability across the Komatsu fleet at Wambo Mine. You'll proactively monitor equipment health, coordinate maintenance activities, investigate machine issues, support warranty claims, and provide expert technical advice to the customer and internal stakeholders.
This is a hands-on relationship management role where you'll spend time in the field, working alongside customers and Komatsu teams to improve fleet reliability and deliver outstanding service.
About You / Requirements
- A trade qualification and experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Komatsu or similar mining machinery.
- Experience in fleet maintenance, reliability or field service within the mining industry.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience with condition monitoring, machine health systems, RCA or continuous improvement is highly regarded.
