About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced Process Operators to join our client's plant processing team on a six-month assignment, FIFO from Perth. You will support the safe and efficient operation of processing equipment, working closely with the team to meet production targets and maintain product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor fixed plant equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors and associated processing equipment.
- Monitor material flow and plant performance, identifying and reporting blockages, faults and production issues.
- Complete pre-start inspections, routine equipment checks and report defects.
- Operate loaders and dump trucks as required, within your training and site authorisations.
- Assist with routine maintenance, plant clean-ups and shutdown activities.
- Maintain housekeeping standards, including clearing spillage safely.
- Follow site safety procedures, isolation requirements and operational instructions.
- Communicate with supervisors and maintenance teams to support production targets.
To Be Successful
- Previous experience operating fixed processing plants, ideally within mining or crushing and screening operations.
- Mobile crusher, loader and dump truck experience preferred.
- A strong understanding of plant safety, equipment inspections and fault reporting.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow operating procedures.
- Availability to commit to the six-month assignment.
