Our Opportunity
Work Location: PortHedland – Residential role
Roster: 8 Days / 6 Off / 7 Nights / 7 Off
Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor this shift maintenance position offers a key role for our Port Mechanical team. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of Mechanical Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring effective maintenance of all running plant
- Raising notification for plant defects and repair SAP
- Fixed plant breakdown response, repair, and investigation
- Online plant area inspections, sample stations, balance machines, conveyors, train unloaders
- Hydraulic experience with diagnosis knowledge
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience within the fixed plant maintenance
- Engineering or trade qualification is a must, candidates with significant conveyor maintenance experience also highly regarded.
- Hydraulic experience with diagnosis abilities
- High level communication skills
- Competent user of computerised maintenance management systems – SAP & Microsoft Project
- Ability to develop quality risk assessments, CRAW, JHA, SWMS, etc
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a high attention to detail
- Ability to work with other departments to achieve objectives, team oriented.
- Proven commitment to principles of safety and zero harm
