About the role

This role is based in Kalgoorlie and candidates must either already reside in Kalgoorlie or be willing to relocate from within Australia to be considered.

The position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day electrical maintenance of the Processing Plant. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the role involves safely carrying out work to maintain the reliability and availability of plant equipment, as well as supporting scheduled plant shutdowns in line with the maintenance program.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment following set procedures
• Make sure all work meets legal, safety, and Evolution Mining standards
• Take part in the after-hours call-out roster (around once a month)
• Always follow and promote health, safety, and security practices across the site

The role will be on an 8:6 (10-hour days only) roster, based residentially. Relocation support within Australia to Kalgoorlie can be provided.

About you

• Electrical Trade Certificate and WA Licence
• HV qualification highly regarded
• Experience in fixed plant maintenance in a mining environment
• Experience working with Control system automation and Instrumentation
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Current EWP, Work at Heights & Forklift tickets will be well regarded.
• Exposure to CMMS desirable (Pronto)
• High Regard for quality of work and health and safety
• Team Player
