With 2:2 and 2:1 FIFO rosters available, this is a great opportunity to join a global leader in underground mining and contribute to a high-performing site with a strong safety cultureReporting to the Maintenance Supervisors, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient servicing, maintenance, and repair of underground mobile equipment, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

Responsibilities

Health, Safety & EnvironmentWork in line with Redpath’s “Safety – First, Last and Always” philosophyAttend and actively participate in pre-starts and safety meetingsComplete pre-start checks, hazard reporting, and WPI inspectionsConduct risk assessments and follow all safety proceduresMaintain a safe, clean, and organised work environmentReport all hazards, incidents, and equipment defectsMaintenance & OperationsPerform scheduled servicing and repairs on underground equipmentIdentify and escalate potential equipment issues proactivelyExecute maintenance tasks efficiently and to a high standardMaintain tools and equipment in good working orderSupport trades and operations teams as requiredPlanning & PerformanceEnsure materials and parts are ordered correctly and on timeComplete all work orders and documentation accuratelyContribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction initiativesMeet KPI expectations around safety, quality, and productivity

Qualifications

Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter (Mechanical Trade Certificate)Minimum 2 years underground mining experienceStrong knowledge of underground mobile equipment maintenanceCurrent WA Driver’s Licence (C Class) (MR highly regarded)Valid First Aid & CPR and Working at HeightsAbility to operate underground equipment for maintenance purposesSolid understanding of:Isolation & tagging proceduresHazard & incident reportingSafe lifting and housekeeping practicesEmergency response & mine site protocols
