Job Description

About Us

At Ramelius Resources, gold mining is in our DNA. From our humble beginnings at Wattle Dam to becoming one of Australia’s most respected gold producers, we are proud of our history and even more excited about our future.

We are a leading gold mining organisation with highly profitable operations, a supercharged growth profile, and exceptional exploration upside. We’re currently investing in cutting-edge technology, developing new greenfield mining sites and always looking for ways to create long-term, sustainable value.

Our people are at the heart of everything we do. Passion and commitment fuel our success and define who we are. We offer unparalleled opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative environment where mutual respect and shared ambition thrive. Personal development is linked with company development — when you grow, we grow. We’re driven by a strong team spirit and a “can-do” attitude. We embrace challenges, deliver on our promises, and set new benchmarks in the mining industry.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner Superintendent, you will support the mining operations in all financial and management accounting through business partnering with site teams, including:

  • Supporting site operational leaders to understand cost drivers, operational performance and business risks.
  • Assisting with monthly site cost reporting, budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Preparing journals, accruals, reconciliations and supporting working papers as part of month-end.
  • Support capital expenditure requests (CERs), fixed asset management and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with site teams through regular monthly travel to site and ongoing stakeholder engagement.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, working towards or post graduate studies in CA/CPA qualification.
  • Technical accounting capability with advanced Excel skills.
  • A proactive and curious mindset with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across site and corporate teams.
  • Excellent organisation, communication and prioritisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to undertake regular monthly site travel and work collaboratively within a high-performing finance team
  • A current West Australian C Class driver’s licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance.
