About the Company
SIRROM Corporation is looking for an experienced FIFO Utility / Bus Driver to join our remote village operations in Western Australia.
About the Role
Working a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth, this is a hands-on, varied role supporting the day-to-day operation of the village.
This is not a dedicated Bus Driver position. Bus driving forms only part of the role, and you will also be required to assist across grounds, tavern and general utility duties as required.
What You’ll Be Doing | Depending on operational requirements, your duties may include:
- Bus runs between the village, mine site and airport
- Cleaning and maintaining buses and site vehicles
- General grounds and garden maintenance
- Rubbish collection, cardboard crushing and tip runs
- Cleaning common and recreational areas
- Tavern and bar duties
- Assisting with housekeeping or kitchen duties when required
- General village support duties as directed
What You’ll Bring:
- Current LR, MR or HR Driver’s Licence
- Current Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) authorisation
- Previous FIFO or remote village experience
- Previous utility, hospitality or village services experience
- Current RSA
- Food Handler Certificate
- Forklift Licence highly regarded
- Flexibility to work across multiple departments
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain one
About You You’re someone who understands remote village life and is happy to get involved wherever required. You’re not looking for a driving-only position and are comfortable moving between bus runs, grounds, tavern and general utility duties throughout your swing.
