FIFO Senior HR Advisor

About the Role

• Partner with leaders and employees across site-based operations, providing practical and responsive generalist HR advice.
• Coach and support leaders through people processes, performance conversations, workforce matters and engagement initiatives.
• Manage employee relations matters confidently and fairly, including investigations, disciplinary processes and case management.
• Contribute to the review and implementation of HR policies, procedures and initiatives aligned to business needs and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate key cyclical people activities, including remuneration, salary reviews and other workforce planning processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data and reporting with a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Work closely with site leadership and the broader People Team to support consistent HR practices across the business.
• Support training, compliance activities and monthly reporting requirements as part of the broader site HR function.

You will be degree qualified in HR or a related specialism, supported by a consolidated career history in a generalist HR role, ideally within the mining or resources sector.

• You will be a confident communicator with strong negotiation, influencing, planning and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with leaders and employees across site-based operations.
• You will be able to demonstrate your ability to lead case investigations and possess a comprehensive working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards in Australia.
• You will be proficient in MS Office and HR information systems, and a current C Class Driving Licence.
• Applicants must reside in Western Australia and possess full working rights for Australia. Prior FIFO-based experience will be highly regarded.
