About the Company

Evolve Talent is seeking qualified HVAC Technicians looking to build or further their FIFO career. We have multiple permanent and casual-ongoing opportunities available across our portfolio of mining clients, with attractive rosters including 8/6, 7/7 and 2/1.

About the Role

As a FIFO HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and fault finding of HVAC and refrigeration systems within a mining camp environment. Working as part of a maintenance team, you will carry out preventative and corrective maintenance across residential villages and mine site facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Install, service, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance across camp facilities.
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
Prioritise workloads and meet maintenance deadlines with minimal supervision.
Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs as required.
Maintain a strong commitment to safety and site compliance.

Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Current WA Refrigerant Handling Licence.
Current WA Restricted Electrical Licence.
Construction White Card.
WA Manual Driver’s Licence.
Working at Heights.
CPR/LVR.
Current First Aid certificate.
National Police Clearance.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.

Desirable

Current Rio Tinto, BHP, or Fortescue (FMG) site inductions.
