FIFO Mine Site Maintenance HVAC

About the Role

As a FIFO Mine Site Maintenance HVAC, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and fault finding of HVAC and refrigeration systems within a mining camp environment. Working as part of a maintenance team, you will carry out preventative and corrective maintenance across residential villages and mine site facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance across camp facilities.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Prioritise workloads and meet maintenance deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs as required.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and site compliance.

Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Current Refrigerant Handling Licence.
• Current WA Restricted Electrical Licence.
• Construction White Card.
• Australian Driver's Licence.
• CPR/LVR within 12months.
• Current First Aid certificate.
• National Police Clearance within 6months.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including regular drug and alcohol screening.
• Must be based in Perth.

Desirable

• Current Rio Tinto, BHP, or Fortescue (FMG) site inductions.
• Industry related tickets such as Working at Heights, Confined Space, High Risk Work Licence.
