About the Company

Techforce Personnel has partnered with a Tier 1 heavyweight in the underground mining industry and is seeking experienced Long Hole Drillers and Cable Bolters for long-term FIFO opportunities across multiple WA and SA operations.

The Role

Depending on your experience, you'll be working in one of the following positions:

Long Hole Drillers

• Operating Sandvik DL421i and similar long hole drill rigs
• Completing downhole production drilling
• Maintaining drilling accuracy and production targets
• Conducting pre-starts and routine equipment maintenance

Cable Bolters

• Operating Sandvik DS421 Cable Bolters and similar equipment
• Installing, grouting and tensioning cable bolts
• Reading and interpreting ground support plans
• Working closely with Jumbo and Service Crew teams
• Maintaining production targets while adhering to site safety standards

Requirements

• Previous underground experience as either a Long Hole Driller or Cable Bolter
• Experience operating Sandvik DL421i, DS421 or similar equipment
• Strong understanding of underground production or ground support activities
• Current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Current Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug & Alcohol Screen
