Job Description

• Fly in Fly out or Drive in Drive out from Brisbane
• Full time employment opportunities
• 2/1 roster
• Various shift times working either 10,11 or 11.5 hours
• Remuneration range - $80,000 - $90,000 plus superannuation
• QLD Australian sites available across Ernest Henry, Bauxite Hills, Ravenswood, Ensham, Baralaba, Jellinbah, Clarke Creek, Lake Vermont, Cracow, and Archers Village.

Cater Care Services are seeking dedicated housekeepers to join our remote villages across QLD Australia. You will work 14 days on and have 7 days off (with meals, uniforms and accommodation included), giving you a real opportunity to save and improve your work/life balance.

What does a day in the life of a FIFO Housekeeper look like?

• Cleaning of single ensuite dongas
• Changing linen and making beds
• Dusting and wiping of bedroom surfaces
• Vacuuming and mopping
• Emptying rubbish bins
• Driving buggy
• Safe handling of chemicals
• Repetitive, physical tasks, including heavy lifting and bending
• Assists the on-site broader team as required
• Demonstrate a strong safety culture

Desired Skills and Experience

To get a start you’ll need:

• The ability to work well independently, as well as with other team members
• A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
• A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, sometimes for long periods.
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene

Requirements:

• Current Australian driver's license
• 6-12 months housekeeping experience
• Police clearance (within 6 months)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• RSA (desirable)
• Hospitality experience (desirable)
