About the Company
Join a highly regarded civil contractor delivering a major demolition project in the Northern Territory. With a strong reputation for safety, quality, and performance, this business is ramping up for a large scale 12-month project and is seeking experienced excavator operators to be part of a high performing team.
About the Role
We are seeking experienced Excavator Operators for a 12 month subcontract project, starting mid June. You’ll be working on a dynamic demolition and civil works scope operating Rock Breaking Excavators.
Key Responsibilities
- Hammering and breaking concrete foundations
- Civil and bulk earthworks
- Concrete screening and downsizing
- Material loadout and handling
Project & Roster Details
- FIFO from Major Cities in the NT, QLD, NSW and VIC
- 3:1 roster with Rostered day off on Day 14
- 10 hour paid shifts
- Competitive pay rate: $55–$60 per hour
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience operating excavators in civil or demolition environments
- Proven experience operating with a rock hammer attachment
- Experience with machines such as Volvo 38T, 48T, 75T and Hitachi 890
- Valid RII tickets or equivalent excavator certifications
- Strong commitment to safety and ability to work in a remote team environment
