FIFO Electricians | Tier 1 Iron Ore | Fixed Plant, Projects, HV & Commissioning
I’m working across multiple FIFO opportunities for experienced Electricians with Tier 1 iron ore operators across WA. These roles span fixed plant maintenance, projects & installs, site services, HV and commissioning, with strong pipelines of work and excellent rates on offer.
Whether you're a solid maintenance sparky or a highly technical commissioning or HV specialist, there are options here to suit your experience.
What’s on offer
- $75 - $93/hr + super paid on all hours
- FIFO ex-Perth
- Rosters primarily 8:6:7:7 (days & nights), 8:6 (days only), plus 2:1 option for commissioning roles
- Weekly pay with consistent ongoing work
- Opportunities across multiple Tier 1 sites and projects
Scope of work (varies by role)
- Fixed plant maintenance across crushers, conveyors, screens and processing plants
- Breakdown response, fault-finding and preventative maintenance
- LV/MV systems, motors, drives, instrumentation and PLCs
- HV switching and isolation (for applicable roles)
- Project works, upgrades, installs and commissioning activities
- Supporting shutdowns, reliability and plant performance
- Working within permit systems and site safety frameworks
What you’ll need
- WA Electrical Licence
- Experience in mining, fixed plant or heavy industry
- Strong fault-finding across PLCs, VSDs and plant systems
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- Current Driver’s Licence
Highly regarded
- HV Switching
- Commissioning experience
- Cert IV in Instrumentation
- SAP or similar CMMS exposure
