FIFO Electrical Technician – Multiple Opportunities

Our client is among the world’s top producers of major commodities including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium. They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from its production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas.

Your new role

In this role, you will support safe and efficient electrical maintenance activities across both surface and underground operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out preventative and corrective electrical maintenance
• Troubleshooting, fault-finding and responding to electrical breakdowns
• Supporting HV operational requirements and switching activities
• Maintaining electrical reliability across fixed and mobile plant
• Ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with site standards

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be considered for the job, you will have:

• South Australian A-Class Electrical Licence
• Electrical Trade Certificate
• 3+ years’ experience in heavy industrial, mining, resources, or minerals processing environments
• HV Switching experience (highly regarded)
• Underground mining electrical experience (advantageous)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
