About the Client
Our client operates on one of the world’s largest zinc and lead deposits, located approximately 970 kilometres south-east of Darwin.
We are currently recruiting experienced Civil Operators to join the Civil Projects team for the remainder of the 2026 season. Multiple positions are available across a variety of roster patterns, with opportunities to work both day and night shifts.
Available Opportunities

Dozer Operators
- Experience operating D8–D10 dozers
- Bulk push, batter and foundation works experience
- Confident working on batters
- Ability to follow basic designs using GPS systems (Trimble, Topcon, Modular or similar) or profiling methods
- Previous civil mining experience
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shift rosters
- RII Dozer ticket (essential)
- 12-hour shifts
- Both Rotating day and night shift roster
- 20/8 dayshift & 18/10 nightshift
- Day Shift: $54–$62 per hour (flat rate)
- Night Shift: $61–$70 per hour (flat rate)
- FIFO from Darwin only (interstate flights not included)
- ASAP start

Excavator Operators
- Experience operating 14T–50T excavators
- Clean-up and semi-detailed excavation work
- Ability to follow basic designs using GPS systems (Trimble, Topcon or similar) or profiling methods
- RII Excavator ticket (essential)
- Additional operating tickets and experience highly regarded
- 20/8 dayshift roster
- 12-hour shifts
- $54–$62 per hour (flat rate)
- FIFO from Darwin only (interstate flights not included)
- Expected start: Late August to early September 2026
- Ongoing work for the remainder of the 2026 season

Moxy & Roller Operators
- RII Moxy and Roller tickets
- Proven operating experience
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shift rosters
- 20/8 dayshift roster
- 18/10 nightshift roster
- 12-hour shifts
- FIFO from Darwin only (interstate flights not included)
- Expected start: Mid to late September 2026
- Ongoing work for the remainder of the 2026 season
To be successful for this role, you will need the following:
- Relevant RII operating tickets and demonstrated experience
- Previous civil mining experience
- Experience using GPS systems such as Trimble and/or Topcon
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
- Willingness to cover your own interstate travel to Darwin (interstate flights are not provided)
- Clean-shaven in accordance with site requirements
- A strong commitment to safety, pre-start procedures and compliance with site operational standards
