About the Role
We are seeking an experienced FIFO Chef with a strong background in high-volume, bulk catering environments. You will be confident delivering quality meals to large workforces while maintaining consistency, efficiency, and presentation across every service. Experience working in remote sites is essential, with a solid understanding of rostered operations, tight service schedules, and the ability to adapt in fast-paced kitchen environments. A strong focus on food safety, dietary requirements, and team collaboration is key, alongside a genuine commitment to delivering a high standard of culinary experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality buffet-style meals across multiple sections, ensuring consistency, flavour, and adherence to dietary requirements and guest expectations
- Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen in line with strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team, remaining agile during service while delivering a seamless and elevated dining experience
About You / Requirements
- Must have full working rights in Australia
- Must hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Trade Certificate
- Must have a sound knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques
- Must be able to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and national police clearance
