Job Description

  • Various rosters (2/1 or 8/6)
  • HR License and PTD required
  • Various shift times working either 10,11 or 11.5 hours
  • Remuneration range - $80,000 - $90,000 plus superannuation
  • QLD Australian sites available across Ernest Henry, Bauxite Hills, Ravenswood, Ensham, Baralaba, Jellinbah, Clarke Creek, Lake Vermont, Cracow, and Archers Village.

Cater Care Services are seeking an experienced bus driver with some utility knowledge to join our remote mining villages across QLD . You will be required to complete bus driver duties as well as assist the broader utility team where required.

What this role involves:

  • Drive residents inbetween site, village and airport
  • Ensuring vehicle safety and cleanliness at all times
  • Conduct daily pre start inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
  • Flexibility to assist in utility departments (common area cleaning, housekeeping and kitchenhand duties)
  • Refueling of busses
  • Ability to work split shifts

Desired Skills and Experience

What we require from you:

  • Must hold a valid HR license and PTD extension
  • At least 12 months experience driving buses
  • A National Police Clearance within 6 months, or willing to obtain
  • Ability to work well with other team members
  • A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
  • A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
