What you’ll be doing
As a Field Service Mechanic with Coates, you’ll be working across customer sites, keeping our equipment running safely and efficiently.
- Carry out preventative maintenance, servicing and repairs
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults on a wide range of equipment
- Work across earthmoving equipment, generators, lighting towers and access equipment
- Deliver high-quality service and support to our customers on site
- Maintain stock levels and ensure readiness for field repairs
What you’ll bring
- Relevant mechanical trade qualification
- Experience with diesel and petrol engines, hydraulics and electrical systems
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Current driver’s licence (HR/MR highly regarded)
- Forklift and EWP tickets (desirable)
- A safety-first mindset and team-focused attitude
