Field Service Diesel Fitter – Multi-Site Mining Support | Blackwater Region
Step into a dynamic field-based role supporting a high-performing mining maintenance team with over 50 years of experience in heavy industry and civil earthmoving. We’re looking for skilled Field Service Diesel Fitters to work across multiple sites near Blackwater, keeping large-scale mining equipment and support machinery operating at peak performance.

About the Role
This is a mobile maintenance position where no two days are the same. You’ll be travelling between operational sites, carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on heavy mining equipment.
It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys autonomy in the field, problem-solving on the go, and working within a close-knit, safety-driven maintenance team.
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant trade qualification (Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Plant Mechanic)
- Previous experience in field service or OEM maintenance on large mining equipment
- Current Queensland driver’s licence
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and adapt across multiple sites
