Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment? Do you have a background in retail food and beverage and a strong understanding of food safety regulations? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Role Overview:
This is a multifaced role where you will be serving customers (counter), making sandwiches, coffees and washing dishes. Shifts range from 12pm till 8pm Monday to Sunday. We are looking for 3 days per week with 1 day weekend availability for approx. 20hrs per week depending on staff availabilities.
As a F&B Attendant/Sandwich Hand, you will play a key role in providing outstanding service to our customers while maintaining high standards of food safety and compliance. This dynamic role requires initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence.
What You’ll Bring
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record in food and beverage service, preferably in high-volume settings
- At least 1 year working as a barista would be preferable.
- Proven ability to maintain high standards in a cafe or hospitality environment.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and a passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and effective prioritization skills.
- A team-oriented mindset, willing to collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellence.
