Job Description

The role supervises the work of the Facilities Attendants, The Facilities team are responsible for providing high quality and well-maintained accommodation/facilities to customers and clients of Civeo, including non-technical maintenance, landscape and grounds maintenance and disposal of waste.

Full-Time, Permanent Positions Available.

Full-time positions consist of on-going rotating rosters (5-2 or 14-7 options – may vary per village).

About the Opportunity

We have exciting opportunities for experienced Facilities Manager to join our Operations team at our Villages located in the Bowen Basin (Nebo, Coppabella, Moranbah, Dysart, and Middlemount), approximately three hours inland from Mackay, QLD.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Current Forklift Licence

  • Class C, Manual Driver’s Licence

  • At least two year’s work experience in a maintenance or trades assistant role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

  • A minimum of six months experience of supervising a team.

  • Knowledge of equipment and materials routinely used in Facilities Operations (e.g. ride on mower, push mower, whipper snipper, blower, high pressure hose, small parts).

  • Experience in high volume, fast paced work environments

  • Capability to work well under pressure

  • Flexibility to work, day and/or night shifts if required for your role

  • Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team

  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening

  • A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain

  • Documentation to prove working rights within Australia
