Downer has been awarded a major Integrated Facilities Management contract with Stockland, delivering services across a national portfolio of commercial offices, retail centres, logistics facilities and land lease communities. This long‑term partnership reflects Downer’s strength in managing large, complex portfolios and delivering high‑quality services at scale.

We currently have an opportunity for a Facilities Managerto join our workforce and play a key role in the operational delivery, and performance of integrated facilities services across Stockland’s diverse property portfolio. Reporting to the Regional Manager, Facilities Services, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes for our client and our communities.

About the Role

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Lead and support site teams to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused services by fostering a collaborative culture, setting clear expectations, and developing capability aligned with Stockland’s values and operational goals.
• Driving operational excellence and team engagement through collaborative leadership.
• Ensuring commercial success through cost optimisation, workforce productivity, and capability development.
• Building strong, proactive relationships with Stockland stakeholders to deliver value and responsiveness.
• Identify and support site-level service improvements and collaborative delivery models in partnership with Stockland’s site leadership to enhance operational performance and customer outcomes.

About You / Requirements

• Extensive experience in facilities/property management, ideally across commercial, retail, or mixed-use sites.
• Skilled in managing multi-site operations using both self-delivery and subcontractor models.
• Strong financial skills in budgeting, cost control, and performance reporting.
• Experienced in compliance with building codes, fire safety (e.g. BWOF), and environmental standards.
• Proficient in FM systems (e.g. CMMS, CAFM) and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledgeable in asset lifecycle, preventative maintenance, and contractor oversight.
