As our Fuels & Energy East business continues to grow, we are inviting Expressions of Interest from Senior Project Engineers interested in joining our team and supporting our work with Quantem. This opportunity will enable you to expand your experience across the bulk storage, fuels and terminal infrastructure sectors while becoming part of a highly experienced team delivering solutions for some of Australia's most critical assets.
You will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of fuel terminals, storage facilities, refining infrastructure, brownfield modifications, asset integrity programs, capital projects and operational support activities. You'll work alongside industry experts and develop valuable experience across the full asset lifecycle, from concept and design through to procurement, construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish & maintain strong, successful working relationships with our client across all levels
- Prepare and administer project budgets for the successful financial management of project cash flow requirements
- Understand required project outcome for both UGL and our client in terms of safety, client outcomes, budget, and time
- Understand and interpret contract documents
- Select, procure, and manage subcontractors and subcontractor agreements, and manage progress and variation claims
- Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement in the delivery process
- Mentor Project and Graduate Engineers
- Ensure compliance with all UGL HSSE policies and procedures as well as any relevant legislative requirements
About You
- Relevant Engineering Tertiary qualifications
- Minimum 5 years project delivery experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, or Power Generation industry
- Project portfolio delivery experience in a brownfields Oil & Gas multidisciplinary capacity preferable
- Highly developed interpersonal, relationship management and conflict resolution skills, supporting your ability to effectively liaise, consult and influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels internally and externally
- Methodical and demonstrated ability to work independently, with discretion, to organise and prioritise demands, and handle complex tasks simultaneously, within a fast-paced environment
