As our Fuels & Energy East business continues to grow, we are inviting Expressions of Interest from Mechanical Fitters interested in expanding their experience across the bulk storage, fuels, refining and terminal infrastructure sectors. This is an opportunity to become part of a highly experienced team delivering solutions for some of Australia's most critical assets.
You will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of fuel terminals, storage facilities, refining infrastructure, brownfield modifications, asset integrity programs, capital projects and operational support activities. You'll work alongside industry experts and develop valuable experience across the full asset lifecycle, from concept and design through to procurement, construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair and installation activities on mechanical assets across fuel terminals, bulk storage facilities, pipelines and associated infrastructure.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and maintain critical equipment including pumps, valves, piping systems, loading arms, rotating equipment, storage tanks and ancillary mechanical systems.
- Execute preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance plans, work orders and operational requirements.
- Support shutdowns, asset integrity programs and capital works by completing mechanical works safely, efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship.
- Comply with all safety, environmental and quality requirements, including permit-to-work systems, isolations, confined space entry and risk management procedures.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance and engineering teams to identify equipment issues, improve asset reliability and minimise operational downtime.
About you
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent, with experience working in industrial maintenance, construction or operational environments.
- Demonstrated experience within fuel terminals, bulk storage, oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, utilities, mining or other heavy industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, valves, piping systems, rotating equipment, storage tanks and associated mechanical infrastructure.
- Proven ability to diagnose faults, perform maintenance activities and safely execute mechanical works within live operational environments.
- Sound understanding of permit-to-work systems, isolations, hazard identification and safety requirements in high-risk facilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to safety, reliability and quality workmanship.
