About the Role

Ready to break into underground mining? If you’ve built your HSE experience in open pit or other high-risk industries and are looking for a pathway into underground operations, this may be your opportunity! We’re looking for motivated Health, Safety, Environment & Training (HSE&T) Coordinators who are eager to step into mining (or deepen their experience) and play a key role in creating safer, high-performing workplaces. • Entry into underground mining, no prior UG experience required

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this hands-on role, you’ll be embedded within site operations, where you’ll:

• Partner with leaders to embed strong safety practices on site
• Support and implement safety systems and improvement initiatives
• Influence and coach teams in critical risk management
• Lead incident investigations and drive meaningful outcomes
• Track and report on safety performance and trends
• Assist with return-to-work programs and worker wellbeing
• Identify practical ways to improve site safety, training, and systems
• Play a key role in creating a positive, proactive safety culture

What We’re Looking For:

You don’t need underground experience, what matters is your mindset and foundation:

• Background in HSE within high-risk environments (mining, construction, transport, manufacturing, etc.)
• Cert IV in WHS (or higher)
• Strong communication skills and a passion for influencing others
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a growth mindset
• Willingness to work FIFO (8:6 or 7:7 roster)
