About the Program The Barminco Vacation Program lets you learn industry-leading, safe practises from some of the most skilled underground miners in the world. Learning what it truly means to be part of a team whilst gaining the experience necessary to sit their First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate or Underground Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency.
You will find many diverse career paths open to you upon completion. These will include operational management, corporate roles, technical engineering streams and innovation and technology. These opportunities with Barminco are sure to make the most of your ability!

Key Requirements
- Studying Mining, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
- A strong desire to expand practical underground knowledge.
- Proficient use of MS Office suite.
- Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid manual Driver’s Licence).
- The right to work permanently in Australia.
