Exploration Geologist

With a strong project pipeline and continued growth, we are seeking Exploration Geologists at various experience levels to support brownfields and greenfields exploration programs.

About the Role

As an Exploration Geologist, you will play a key role in the planning and execution of exploration activities, helping to identify and advance mineral resources across a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geological mapping, logging, and sampling programs
• Interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical datasets
• Plan and oversee RC, diamond, and aircore drilling programs
• Manage and maintain exploration databases and geological models
• Contribute to target generation and project evaluation
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Ensure all activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams and contractors
• Assist with resource development and project advancement activities

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in Geology or Earth Sciences
• Previous experience in mineral exploration, ideally within base metals, gold, lithium, iron ore, or critical minerals
• Strong geological logging and interpretation skills
• Experience with drilling programs and field-based exploration activities
• Proficiency in software such as Leapfrog, Micromine, Datamine, ArcGIS, or similar
• Ability to work autonomously in remote and challenging environments
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Valid driving licence
• Valid, unrestricted Australian working rights
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
