Exploration Geologist

Your new companyOur client is a growing critical minerals organisation advancing a large-scale resource project in Far North Queensland. With exploration and development activities running in parallel, the operation is focused on ongoing resource definition, drilling programs and supporting the transition towards future mining operations.

Your new roleAs an Exploration Geologist, you will play a key role in supporting resource definition and deposit development activities across an active exploration project. Working closely with field crews and technical personnel, you will oversee core logging and sampling programs, assist with drilling campaigns, maintain geological databases and contribute to geological interpretation and reporting. This is a FIFO contract opportunity on a 15/6 roster with flights provided from Cairns, Brisbane or Townsville.

What you'll need to succeed• Previous exploration geology experience within mining or exploration environments
• Experience with core logging, sampling and resource definition programs
• Ability to assist with drilling campaigns and geological interpretation
• Strong commitment to safety and site compliance requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively with field technicians and exploration teams
• Experience maintaining accurate geological records and databases
• Comfortable working in remote field environments and challenging terrain
• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a growing project team
